James Warner is an active member of RE/MAX The Islands both as a licensed Realtor and Partner/Owner. Jody Fastabend
Partner, Sales Representative, Property Manager and Denman Resident
Jody Fastabend is a Partner/Owner and licensed Realtor with RE/MAX The Islands. She has 16 years of real estate experience listing and selling recreational properties, family homes, and larger acreages for her clients previously in Powell River. She has worked with many purchasers and clients from the lower mainland, Alberta, across Canada and the western United States. As a top producer Jody specializes in the sale of recreational properties and larger acreages.
Jody is a lover of animals and has raised llamas and alpacas for many years. She is an avid outdoors person who enjoys kayaking, skiing and hiking. She also has a keen interest in weaving and spinning. Jody has volunteered in a variety of capacities and these have included her involvement with the Arthritis Society, Canadian Futures Society and the Chamber of Commerce.

Amy Harrington

Amy Harrington is a licensed Realtor and member of RE/MAX The Islands.
Amy is a 21 year resident/ homeowner and an active participant in the community. She is the vice-president of the Denman Island Community Recreation Society. She was the driving force behind the fundraising and planning the new community playground. Amy’s work experience includes small business ownership, property management and landscaping. She knows the Denman and Hornby Island community very well, with many close friends and family associations.

Millan

Frances Millan is a licensed Realtor and a member of RE/MAX The Islands on Hornby Island. As a property manager for many years, Frances has enjoyed her vast experience and success in finding vacation properties for the off island visitors during their stay. She now uses her expertise in the real estate market to sell Hornby Island homes. She very much enjoys the opportunity to work with her friends, family and visitors to the Island. Frances Millan is a 25-year veteran to Hornby Island and is well known for her community work. She was an active member of the fire department for 11 years, 1st responder for 7 of those years, secretary of HIRRA for 2 years, and was the coordinator of the Hornby Food Wholesale for 5 years. Frances is a lover of animals, gardening and travel.
Frances strongly believes in giving back to the community that supports her by providing employment opportunities and by supporting the local groups and organizations. She will be working with RE/MAX The Islands providing assistance to their community partners Hornby and Denman Community Health Care Society, Hornby Island Community Economic Enhancement Committee (HICEEC) and the Hornby Island Arts Council. Frances also continues to provide vacation homes rental services through Wind and Waves Property Management, where she employs two Hornby residents.

Wendy Edwards

Wendy refers to herself as "basically British" having moved to Canada in 1965. In 1972 she settled on Denman Island, migrated to Hornby Island in 1984 raising 4 daughters in the interim.
Wendy has been licensed as a Realtor since 1990, a broker since 1992 gaining recognition as a Canadian Real Estate Specialist from the Real Estate Institute of Canada and operating her own Brokerage successfully on Hornby Island for 15 years. As a Buyer’s Agent she brings an outstanding knowledge of Island properties garnered from years as a Property Manager. As an experienced negotiator she has successfully brought together people and places by listening to the buyers needs and finding that dream location first hand.

Jack Forsyth, Agent 9:15, has been a top producing Realtor for over 20 years and has an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration. In addition to his numerous real estate awards, Jack is a former Director of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board and he is a Fellow in the Real Estate Institute of Canada. Jack's professional recognition include, receiving the Top Producer in Sales Award for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board; being a recipient of the Medallion Award in Sales every year since it was established (18 years ago), and the prestigious Realtor of the Year Award for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board in 1999. Sheelagh MacKenzie

Sheelagh brings her enthusiasm for life in general and the Denman Island community in particular to her work of finding people homes. She is a licensed Realtor and member of RE/MAX The Islands.
Sheelagh has a B.A. in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. She is trained as a documentary filmmaker. She has served as the Island herbalist and teacher of herbal medicine making and wild plant identification for over a decade. She gives free community plant walks every year to support the Denman Island Conservancy. Sheelagh sits on the Denman Island Womens Organization Board of Directors and works with other women to find housing solutions for Denman families. Sheelagh is an active member of the Denman Island volleyball team. Sheelagh's children grew up here on Denman Island, for which she is truly grateful.
